Croquet for members of our U3A group started several years ago at the High Wycombe Croquet Club which now has two permanent lawns. Over the years membership has been extended to U3A members from Amersham, Beaconsfield and Wendover. The High Wycombe Club is one of only three croquet clubs in Buckinghamshire and is the oldest and largest . During the croquet season (April - October), The Croquet Club's equipment is available, and basic instruction is provided to enable players to quickly enjoy the social game of ‘Golf Croquet’, which provides gentle outdoor exercise.
